Management Team
Mary Delaney
President
Mary manages the day-to-day operations of Personified, drawing on 20 years of expertise in sales and marketing leadership, business development and startups to drive strategy and revenue. She is an employment expert who regularly appears on TV and radio to discuss hiring trends and workplace issues. She has appeared on CNN, Headline News, FOX and CBS National Radio and in the Harvard Business Review.
Most recently, Mary served as the Chief Sales Officer for CareerBuilder.com, leading the Enterprise and Recruiter Business Unit teams of the company’s sales force and tripling revenue for those units in five years. She has played a key role in helping CareerBuilder.com rise to the top of its industry and consistently outpace competitors in revenue growth.
Prior to joining CareerBuilder.com, Mary managed the merger of Headhunter.net and CareerBuilder.com. In this capacity, she oversaw two acquisitions and orchestrated launches in new vertical markets. Before that, Delaney was senior vice president for InterCall Inc., a conference services provider, where she developed the long-term company vision and national sales strategy. While at InterCall, sales revenues grew from zero to over $200 million. Early in her career, Mary held a variety of sales management positions at Nestle Corp and Async Corp., a voice mail service company.
Mary is completing her MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. She received the 2006 Stevie Award for Best Sales Executive from the American Business Awards. She is a fellow at Leadership Greater Chicago and a board member of the Business Marketing Association of Chicago.
Corey Epperly
Vice President – Sales, Marketing & Training
Corey is a results oriented leader with a proven track record of helping Fortune 500 companies improve their recruitment practices and talent management effectiveness. As Vice President for Personified, he is in charge of growing the firm’s presence as the number one resource for talent management consulting and services through sales and marketing efforts.
Prior to Personified, Corey served as an Area Manager for CareerBuilder.com where he managed a number of U.S. offices. He also successfully opened the Washington, D.C. sales office during his tenure and ran the national accounts team out of Chicago.
Corey also served as the Director of Sales at PSINet, a technology consulting services firm, where he was in charge of office openings, sales force expansion and product development.
Corey holds a B.S. in Finance from Virginia Tech.
Brett Kashanitz
Vice President – Consulting Talent & Operations
Focused on creating the best consulting force in the industry, Brett is creating an environment of growth, development, and thought leadership at Personified. He is passionate about recruiting and growing a network of consultants that can positively impact Personified’s client/partner organizations. He is also passionate about making Personified an employer of choice for talent consultants.
Prior to joining Personified, Brett was the Director of Agency Relationships and Diversity Marketing Manager for CareerBuilder.com. In this role, he led the organization’s relationships with its recruitment advertising partners as well as the competitive intelligence program.
Brett’s previous experience as a Recruiting Manager at Deloitte Consulting, leading the enterprise resource planning (ERP) and business warehouse (BW) recruitment efforts, combined with owning his own recruiting business, has prepared him for his current role with Personified. Brett has a B.A. from Eastern Illinois University.
Jennie Dede
Vice President – Operations, Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO)
As Vice President of Recruitment Process Outsourcing Operations, Jennie is working to help Personified become the market leader in Recruitment Process Outsourcing. Jennie uses a refreshing approach to deliver effective recruitment solutions and believes in building client relationships based on trust, service delivery, and a consultative approach to recruiting. She is passionate about creating an environment where best practices are not only executed, but created, and helping to develop a dynamic team of recruiting professionals that far exceed the client’s expectations.
Prior to joining Personified, Jennie spent the past six years in the recruitment industry, focusing the past four years specifically on RPO. Jennie most recently served as Sr. Director of Operations at Spherion, where she was responsible for delivering RPO solutions to some of their largest clients, including Cisco, Kodak, United Airlines, and Capital One. Implementing several standard processes and managing large scale delivery teams, Jennie was ranked in the top 10% of the company two years in a row. She also won the President’s Cup in 2007, a prestigious award presented to only 18 people throughout the year. Jennie has a BA in English from St. John Fisher.
Michelle J. Spellerberg
Director of Marketing
Michelle has more than 12 years of experience in marketing and communications in the human-capital management, publishing, legal, financial, and online industries. As the Marketing Director for Personified, she is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies that expand awareness, drive revenue, and improve client satisfaction.
Prior to joining Personified, Michelle was the Marketing Manager for the Recruiter Business Unit at CareerBuilder.com. She has also worked as the Director of Communications for a nationwide network of law firms, where she was responsible for all internal employee communications, including developing and managing the intranet and human resources information distribution. She also directed the organization’s external marketing efforts, which included public relations, conference management, marketing collateral development, and Web site management and content generation. Michelle has also held roles with Kenexa and Sandhills Publishing.
Michelle received her MBA in Market Management from DePaul University in Chicago, IL and her BA in Journalism and Mass Communication from Drake University in Des Moines, IA. She is also an author who has been published in many publications, including Recruiting & Staffing Solutions Magazine, Staff Digest, Servicing Management, Smart Computing, Smart Computing Learning Series, Smart Computing Reference Series, and Smart Computing Guide Series.
Sanja Licina, Ph.D.
Manager of Research & Methodology
As Manager of Research and Methodology, Dr. Sanja Licina is working to help Personified become the most credible source for up-to-date research within the talent management industry. She is responsible for building cutting edge thought leadership that provides critical insight into the current workplace and talent market, including research reports, white papers, case studies and hot topics, in addition to ensuring that all client methodologies are statistically sound.
Prior to joining Personified, Sanja worked as a Research Specialist at Hudson, playing an integral role in the development of leadership capital by serving as a director of white paper research as well as co-managing the Hudson Employment Index. She also served as an Associate Consultant at MICA Consulting Partners and as an Independent Consultant for Harvard Business School.
Sanja holds a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from DePaul University and a B.A. in Psychology and Communication Studies from the University of Michigan.
